
No more getting the torch out, climbing in the ditch to cut the hole, climbing out to set the pitless, only to climb right back in to finish the installation.
First, you screw the scraper onto your 10 feet of 1 inch installation pipe to scrape to dirt and bentonite off the well cleaning the casing at the installation depth.
The Pitless is now screwed on and a pice of soapstone is mounted on the top side of the pitless. hanging the pitless on the tee handle and marking the casing at the said depth of the water line.
The pitless is now placed in the well on the provided Tee Handle in the direction of the hole to be drilled.
Now, you take one trip into the ditch with your Hole In A Bucket, and have everything that is needed to finish the installation.
Place the provided Hole Saw Jig on the casing with the top of the hole saw on the scribed mark. To drill the hole, an 18 volt or larger battery operated drill is needed.
After the hole is drilled you should see the pitless hanging just inside the casing. Using the wooded handle of the wire brush pull the pitless through, put the rubber seal in place, and screw the nut using the provided aluminum socket with the drill. you then have everything else in your bucket to finish the installation.
As you can see, you could install your own pitless adapter over the weekend and actually tell your wife you'll be done in 5 minutes!
STEP 1. Remove dirt and debris from casing with provided scraper.
STEP 2. Sliding the provided T-Handle over your drop pipe and tightening the screw will ensure all work is done at the correct depth.
STEP 3. Mark depth of hole to be cut using provided soapstone.
STEP 4. After marking the hole for drilling hang the pitless inside the well from the T-Handle, you will see it soon.
STEP 5. Place Hole Saw Jig on casing aligning the top of the hole saw to your previously marked line.
STEP 6. After hole is drilled you will see the pitless hanging just inside the cassing pull it through the drilled hole and finish the instalation.
